ABOUT US

Our story

Sooner Mobile X-Ray, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company that has provided mobile x-ray services to Oklahoma communities for over 20 years. Paul Scott, RT(R), and his wife, Susan, started Sooner Mobile X-Ray out of their home in March 2001. He started doing mobile x-ray with one van and a 24/7 schedule 365 days/year. When Paul took x-rays, he would always try to spend a little extra time with each patient to hear their stories. He feels he learned a great deal from their life experiences. He now encourages his employees to take time to listen, show respect, and display compassion.

Paul is active in his church, serving as a deacon. He and his wife have taught Sunday school and youth, worked on missions, and have served on various committees and leadership positions, including the Baptist Foundation Board.

Susan is a liaison for the Beautiful Day Foundation, which serves two main groups of people in their community - children and widows.

Paul and Susan believe in serving family, church, and community by sharing the love of Christ.

They have been married since 1989 and have three grown children, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren.

In 2020, their son Braden joined Sooner, bringing his business knowledge to the team. Braden was formerly active in the DFW community, serving as the Capital Campaign Manager for the North Texas Food Bank, where his team raised over $56MM to help fight hunger in North Texas. Paul, Susan, and Braden enjoy working together and hope to continue growing their legacy and family-owned business for generations to come.

We're more than a contracted service - we're part of your care team.

We hire technologists in the communities they serve, so they can get to you “sooner.”

We strive to create a safe, warm environment for every patient we see — our greatest concern is the health and comfort of our patients.
